Fans have been seeing some other sides of R&B singer-songwriter Brian McKnight recently — he last performed in town in October at TPAC, co-starring with Vivica A. Fox in the play Cheaper to Keep Her. You also may have caught his short-lived talk show in syndication last year.
This year, it looks like McKnight’s is putting the focus back on music — he’s coming to the Ryman Auditorium (116 Fifth Ave. N., 889-3060) on Thursday, June 2, in advance of his upcoming album, Just Me, which hits stores on July 12. He’s just released the video for the album’s first Autotune-laden single, “Fall 5.0.” (Watch it after the jump.)
The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $29.50, $39.50 and $54.50.
